Default 4 channel gears in a 3 channel rear?

Found some gears from a 4 channel rear end. They should fit just fine into my 3 channel, right? They're for a 3 series carrier if that makes any difference.

It is the carrier that makes the difference not the braking system. So as long as you have a 3 series carrier they will work.
