I am considering getting a 224 cam installed, also with a 4:10 gear set. I have a local installer to do it, however my nearest tuner is 6 hours away.

I currently have a LS1 Edit tune on it with just bolt on's. After install, would it be safe/OK to drive it that distance for a re-tune?

I wouldn't mash the gas or anything, just cruise at 60 MPH or so.
