I'm making less power but I still plan to upgrade to a stronger shaft. I would love to just buy a stock length 3.5" aluminum shaft and pop it in there, but I also want to run a DS loop and it'll be tough to fit one on an over-sized drive shaft, plus I want to ensure that the shaft is the dead-on correct length.

If patience prevails I will install the new rear, measure the proper DS length, and then order a 3" steel shaft, probably from Denny's.

Mine lasted one good launch with that kind of power.

The PST 3.5" driveshafts we sell work with every driveshaft loop we have tried. It is only .25 wider on either side, which doesn't effect it much. With a 1200 hp rating and a lifetime guarantee, I don't see how you can go wrong with it. Bob
