Default can posi be replaced?

hey i'm about to maybe buy a rear end off a guy with an LT1 and he says the posi is busted on it, only spins one tire.. how much is it to fix the posi? the rear ends only 100 so seems like good deal if posi is cheap

Depends what differential you go with, anywhere from $300-550+ + bearings and paying someone to set it up if you cant do it yourself.
