loud houling when launching?

loud houling when launching? Well I launched my car last night off boost, the car has a big problem right now and wont make very much boost at all, I think 4-5psi in first gear is what I saw.
Anyway there was a very loud houling/whining from the back of the car, nothing gave out and I drive it 20 miles home.
Is my 10 bolt finally dead?
