chrysler 8.25 hey guys, i have a chrysler 8.25 rearend with discs from a 90s jeep grand cherokee, how much stronger is this than the 10bolt and better yet, could i rig it into my 95 vert. thanks in advance

As a former Ram owner (one with an 8.25" rear), it isn't that strong. Probably stronger than the 10 bolt in these cars, but not by much. My 2004 Ram blew two rear ends due to the weak factory LSD (broken clips). I guess you could put an aftermarket LSD in there, but its not worth it.

The axleshaft on a 8.25 in an early Jeep is 27 spline and they were upgraded to 29 spline in 1999. The differential offerings are poor as well so I wouldn't bother with it.
