it is a 10 bolt 7.5 inch. Rule of thumb is 3.73's for an auto or 4.10's for a 6 speed. Myself I have a six speed and running 4.30's (In a ford 9") and I love them. Some guys go with 3.90's in their auto.

? up to you. I put 3.90's in my 10 bolt. outstanding mod and gives you the best"feel" of performance. Drove it for 1300 miles then bought my 9". I sold my 10 bolt for $525 with the stock gears added in. So I got most of my money back on the gear swap. I only have 37,000 miles on the car though.
You will spend between $500-600 to have new gears, A Master rebuild kit, Labor, and supplies for the install . If you don't drag race your car, it should last you. Heck, you already got 100,000 miles on it. But make sure you have somebody that knows what they are doing install them and make sure you put a Master rebuild kit in it with all new bearings and seals. You may or may not get lucky with the new gears holding up?
To me its a rolling of the dice, These 10 bolts are not suited for our cars once you start adding more HP.
For me it was a waste of money, 8 months later I swaped out the rear, But I intend on racing next year with slicks!!
