It's a debate if it works at all, some people honestly feel it even puts you at more risk.
Two things that really can't be debated it looks nifty and makes rear gear oil changes easier.

It's suppose to add rigidity to the housing, which keeps flexing to a minimum. In all honesty, I wouldnt spend the money on one unless you could get one used for cheap.
I've been running Motive 4.10s in my car for a while, and besides blowing the posi on the 1-2 shift at the track on spray (torsen helical splines shredded) it's held up nicely.
Granted I don't take it to the track anymore, but it's been sprayed numerous times with a stout clutch and DRs on the street making somewhere in the neighborhood of 550-575 rwhp/615+rwtq.
In the end your gonna want a 9in, 12 bolt, etc, but the 4.10s in the 10 bolt will live for a while on the street.

if you've got money for a gear oil change I would go for it.

Shannon ....That's an image straight from Thunder. I don't want you thinking I have a brand new cover that I'm selling. I have a used one. I see that you are leaving tomorrow...let me know if you are still interested.
