TCI SS3500 for daily driver/what times to expect?
I have a 99 Z28 with lid/filter/cutout and my current best is 13.2@106 on street tires. I'm not sure what my 60 was as they weren't giving time slips that day, but my guess would be 2.1-2.2 as I was spinning pretty good.
My question is how tight is the SS3500 2.5 for daily driving? I see the track maybe 5 times a year and although I want the best bang for the buck 'verter I don't want it to be loose. Also, with the addition of some DRs or ET streets what times do you think I should expect with the TCI. Thanks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'd guess around 12.40's with ET streets. The difference between a 3500,3600,3800's drivability on the street is not much. Any of those are going to feel "loose" for a while until you get used to it, since you've been running the stock converter. I'd jump on it at the price they are going for in the GP.
