Default Ford 9" differential

So I bought a ford 9" center section on ebay last summer (I know buying from ebay)

It has a factory rebuilt trac-lok posi and a new set of gears. everything went fine, gears broke in fine, posi worked fine at first, yes I put the friction modifer in.

Currently the rear end is acting like a completly open differential. This is after about 600 miles, and I will admit I drive hard.

So I am looking for a new differential, I would rather not try and rebuild the trac-lok after reading about the off-road guys flame them as junk.

The car is street driven only, and quite light (~2500lb maybe)

I was thinking about the Powertrax No-Slip Traction Systems
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
, supposed to be a synchronized locker, and i would not have to re set up the gears. Has anyone used one of these?

any other options/advise?

thanks,

Matt

Go with a Detroit True trac & don't look back.
