Default 9in Clearance

Upper torque arm bolt put hole in floor pan.....anyone else run into this problem......I will be welding in a new piece to allow clearance but didn't expect it

Had the same thing. They don't fit like a stocker, that's for sure. Eventually they make room for themselves. A BFH works wonders too.

what did you do to fix it? I was just going to take some sheet metal and make a raised space for it to have clearance.

That happened on my buddy's car but mine doesn't hit at all.....and we're both lowered about the same amount too.

lol crappy stock type tq arm on a 9 inch...no room there...when i heard it bacnging i would have fixed it then...not let it tear a hole in the car...sux man but should be an easy fix

It didn't bang until it was too late....and it doesn't matter what torque arm is on it because it is the 9in bracket that hits
