Need another Rear - What will work?
My rear-end (non traction control) on my '96 TA is too noisy and I want to install another one, but I need to know what will work. I plan on retaining my brakes and need the ratio to be 3.42.
Do I have to use a rear that was originally equipped with disk brakes?
Will my backing plates bolt on to a rear-end from any 4th gen?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's been rebuilt twice before. It had 4.10s that were loud and even when I had the 3.42 put back it was still loud. I don't know of anybody around here that has had good luck with a rebuild.
Are any drum brake rears 3-channel or did they not have anti-lock brakes?

Does anybody know if there would be issues trying do use a rear from a drum brake model? Would my disks bolt up?
