Default Anyone drag high hp m6 w/ 10 bolt&drs?

Anyone here still using a 10 bolt that drag races frequently with high hp m6 setups?

How bout people who have beefed up their 10 bolt, anyone think it actually can hold 400 n/a + 150 nitrous on DR\s.

i broke my " beefed up" 10 bolt about 4 times now finally i said enough is enough and the car is sitting till i can get the money for a 9" i'm pushing over 400 at the wheels and i dont think any 10 bolt could hold 400 + a 150 shot on drag's you'll never leave the starting line

I had over 200 runs on a stock 10bolt w/3.73s TA girdle and DRs and stock Driveshaft. car would run 11.20s at 120+mph. Motor broke, trans broke, Rear end lived???? Maybe I got lucky.

30,000 miles on my car never abused, 2nd time at the track last friday on a Nitto 555r DR + 332RWHP and BANG! at a 3000rpm launch. The best 60' i pulled that night was only a 2.18, so it wasnt even hooking that well... M6, 3:42, BTW.

mine survived many 4500 launches on ETstreets with a M6.. car has 420rwhp, rear end was bone stock! But instead of risking it.. a 12bolt went in its place...

I raced over 20 times on stock 10 bolt with 3.73, TA cover, ARP main cap studs and only 290 RWHP in a M6 and broke on the starting line 2 weeks ago

It will not hold up if it is being abused like you say. Save your pennies and get a 9".
