Aftermarket rears with lowering springs
Does anyone have an aftermarket rear that is lowered as well? I am lowered 1.25 inches and would like to upgrade the rear in the future.
I'm mainly concerned with clearance in the tunnel area. I don't want to bang my floorboard just to fit a big rear under the car.
Will a 12 bolt fit without any issues?

a Strange 12 bolt will work fine for you, and have the best clearance. the torque arm mount is the closest to the stock rear. the 9 inch rears will cause clearance problems with a stock type torque arm. you cannot physically put the torque arm in the stock location on a 9 inch. My fabricated rearend will have the best clearances of any of the 9 inch rears. if you plan on drag racing the car, the 9 inch rearend is the way to go.

My car is mainly a street car but I would like to be able to run sticky tires without worrying about the 10 bolt blowing up.
I'll look into the Strange 12 bolt. Its good to know I won't have clearance problems.
