URGENT - help on gear oil type for tonight I have a Moser 12-bolt with 4.10s and I am currently running Royal Purple Max Gear Oil 75W-140 in it. I am going to the track tomorrow and believe the rear may be down on fluid anywhere from 1/2 to 1 full quart (bottle), so I want to just top it off for tomorrow. The issue is I only have access to 75W-90 before the track rental but don't want to run it low if it is in fact low.
Would I be alright topping it off 1/2 to 1 quart with the Royal Purple 75W-90 just for tomorrow at the track and then totally flushing and replacing it over the weekend?
