Ok, I drive the car everyday... sometimes on the highway. I prolly make 3-5 passes a month at the track. but which gear would be better? Its my DD, and I do take longer trips.. how would the 3 73s do on the highway?? And how much will they hurt my gas mileage

Auto = 3.73
Manual = 4.10

At the track...minimal difference from 3.42 to 3.73. City driving there wont be a measurable gas mileage difference. If you do a lot of highway, then 70mph (3.73)= 2500rpms, 70 mph (3.42)= 2200 rpms...ahhh you do the math...lol

3.73's are definitely worth it. I drive mine on the highway a good bit...no problems here.

I have had both and like the 3.42 better. I think 3.73 is a little to much for highway.

I do a good bit of highway driving and very rarely see the track. With that being said I plan on going with 3.42's and a Vig3200.

amen, i went from 3:42s to 4:11s and havent been happier! moderate cruising speeds with 6th gear and the pull in 1st gear is.....well u have to experience it to understand
