Default opinions on the best sounding 2010 exhaust

Just what the title says. Just curious to what you guys think. I've only been able to hear any exhaust notes on youtube. So far, corsa has a good sound. Espically when you throw a cam at it.

Corsa hands down. No drone inside the car. But let's you know it's there when you get on it.
I'm running ARH long tubes into an ARH catted X-Pipe, and Corsa cat-back.
Sounds friggin mean with a cam.
Not sure how it's going to sound with the 416. Will find out in a few days when I get the car back from G-Force.

ghl exhaust is the best. go on youtube and enter "ghl 2010 camaro". Sounds awesome and second is magnaflow competion. Corsa is a beatifull piece but gets raspy with headers.

Here ya go. ghL FTW

Corsa is bad ***, but the most cost effective is just a muffler delete. I did that right away, cost was right around $100 for a 5 foot stick of stainless 2.5" and installation at a local muffler shop. Sounded really good too. But I just got done putting the full system on from Texas Speed with the 1 7/8" headers, off road X and Magnaflows at the back. Their system is very well made and sounds fantastic! I picked up quite a bit of power too, my baseline pull was 417 RWHP with just the headers/exhaust and a cold air on the stock tune! It's at Speed Inc. now getting the cam, UD pulley and dyno tune right now, we'll see what I end up with after all of that.

I've been seriously considering the Hushpower axleback. Its $430 shipped, has a great deep sound, and is not overly loud. This way when I do long tubes and high flow cats it won't be insanely loud.

Another option I was considering is the Solo Mach X or Quantum systems. They sound great and, again, are not overly loud.

I love most of the systems out there, but have had my fair share of problems with loud exhausts in the past. I need to keep it quiet as possible this time (which is near impossible with long tubes!) I have a stack of 50+ loud muffler tickets....Jersey sucks!

ThunderZ-28 and scotty sound like you guys got it going on. Lets see some video when your cars come back from the shop. I'm curious as to how they'll sound now. Is there any exhaust that has a real bad "rasp" out there now to avoid?

I really like my flowmaster and the price cant be beat. I think I got mine for like 670 shipped. It is also 3 inch so you have room to grow with mods. Just about half the price of some of the other cat backs. And it is stainless steel as well.

It isnt super loud with the stock manifolds and converters but it sounds great. Once I heard how it sounded with ORX and long tubes I was sold. It sounds great both ways...which is what I wanted because my car will be ORX with long tubes (and H/C for the matter) in the future.

Flowmaster sounds good man, but for $1449 you get everything from headers to tips with the TSP system... It's all 3" too and the Magnaflows sound fantastic stock. With the healthy cam I'm running now it is perfect! Not overly loud at idle, and WOT it screams.

I would have went that route but I dont want to void my warranty yet. I am not going to install long tubes without a tune. I could not keep the stock exhaust sound so this was my best option for the price/sound etc.

The ARH short system is about 1200 bucks that will bolt up to my flowmaster system. So I will be losing about 400 bucks compared to doing the TSP system.

price should not be a factor when buying exhaust for your 2010 SS

especially if you got the money to buy a 2010 ss

again, my opinion

I have Kooks headers and exhaust on mine. Sounds great. But does have some drone at lower rpm's in 6th gear. Other than that, I wouldn't have anything else!

I have Stainless Works and its the best sounding in my opinion. Makes the SS sound like an SS. Serious muscle car sound but probably as loud as any everyday car exhaust can be. Corsa, Borla sound nice but are a little tame to me.

If you want HP and sound though, skip the cat back and go for long tubes.
