Post Newbe needs some insight!!!! Thanks

Hey ya'll I'm currently deployed right now in Iraq and I had bought a 2010 LS3 Camaro while I was home on leave...... I know, I know why did you buy the car when your deployed? Well I got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up. Now a friend of mine has an LS1 and introduced me to LS1 Tech and he has been helping me out and telling me what's good and not but I would like to get others inputs and thoughts. Since I've been over here I have been just looking for right now, the only thing I have done to the car is cosmetic work but looking to beef it up. Your thoughts and recommendations please?

I know that there are several ways you could go about doing things. I know that I want intake manifold ( looking at FAST 102 ), cam, long tube headers, exhaust, clutch, pulleys. Also if you could let me know who's parts are better, Thanks

Any good American made header is the way to go (ie. Kooks, ARH, Stainless works) 1 7/8" seems to be the best size.

I wouldn't do with a Fast 102 right off the bat, the stock manifold flows pretty well.

Cat-back is all sound, not much of a performace gain so maybe look at axle-backs to save a little money.

Cam is very subjective, I would talk with one of the sponsor shops in here.

Dark,
Thanks for the input. Have you heard anything about what air intakes work best if at all?

I have the Roto-Fab and love it, it seems like a lot of people have it. I have also heard good things about the ADM and CAI. I also have heard the Vara-ram does not live up to the hype or price tag.

Okay cool, ya I was looking the Roto-Fab and ADM. The Vara-ram as it looks like it would be a good concept but it looks cheap. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm very happy with my Roto-Fab.
