Unhappy New Camaro...exhaust problem!*!*!

Got a problem with the exhaust on the new camaro. Car has about 5K on it. Every now and then, when the car starts up it would shoot white smoke and would do it for a few minutes. Also when driving, if i get on it, it does the same. Anyone running into this problem??? It's the 2SS model.

White "smoke" is a sign of water in the exhaust.

Could be one of two things.

Plain old moisture that a cool exhaust makes.

Or the car is leaking coolant into the cylinders and burning it.

What is you coolant level?

Thumbs down

Well, the car has been off for about an hour. Checked the coolant level and its at the "min" mark. I'm thinking it's the coolant issue as well.

Sounds like maybe the head gasket wasn't put on right perhaps. Take it in and have them fix it.

Sorry to hear.

does it only do it when its cold or all the time. If its at normal operating temp and its doing it, its the head gasket, if it when its cold thats normal.
