what is the best way to drop the motor in these new 5th gens
Is it easier to drop them from the bottom like 4th gens, or is it easier to pull it out from the top? I'm replacing JUST the motor. Everything else is staying with the car. I haven't had a chance to look at these in person to get my own opinion.

My buddies and I did one recently. It was a 2010 SS M6 and there is so much room from the top it's not funny. We were able to pull just the engine and leave the M6 behind. There is enough room to lift the engine, pull it six inches forward to slide it off the input shaft, lift the entire engine w/ accessories and intake over the rad. support, without removing the hood or even the hood struts.
It is absolutely a dream to work on compared to a 4th gen.
