After fitting this LS2 and long tube headers and T-56 into my Miata, almost anything else would seem like a snap to me. I'd love to do an S-10 SWB, 427 LS3, Next, itd be a dream.

I just turned 3000 miles and it dynoed at 438 HP it's first trip to the drag-strip will be pretty soon, weather permitting. I'll be running street tires Z rated radials.
My buddy in his daily driver, Chevy V8 Miata in Iowa and turned a 10.70 at 133 on drag radials, I believe, also it's on You-tube.

I'm an Old Fart and I learned a long time agao that you can Stuff a V8 into almost anything, it's Really all about the Quality of the Build and the end result that Matter IMO.
I was at a recent show where there was a beautifully painted and exterior detailed Japanese Pro Drift Car in the same show and when he popped the hood to "show off" the LS1 & Engine Bay, I got a little sick to my stomach.
The Execution of the Exterior and the Engine Transplant where So at odds, it was Super apparent the Only Primary Objective was to Install that Grease-Ball LS1 in there, even if it took a BFH to do it.
The Oil Leaks and Dirt encrusted Engine were No Extra Charge of course.

Ive been in a "stock" if you will super 7 with i think a 2.0L ford engine, it flew pretty good with that, with an LS1(and 3 times the power to boot!) it would be beyond a monster!
I like the Miata, in stock form they are a barrel of laughs to drive, with an LS! =

Probably one of the main factors that pushed me over the edge to build this (hate to say this) was my buddy Bill's Ford 377 stroker Miata. Bill's car (91 Miata) with 418 RWHP felt so solid, so forgiving in handling & driving, That was what sold me to do one really.
Even with an LSX the car feels like a much, much heavier car, Vette, Camaro, Firebird. Great Stability, It only gets Weird when YOU make it get Weird, THEN still exceptionally managable, recoverable. I should note I've been through driving and competition schools and have around 8 years of Track experience in NASA, ProAutoSports and SCCA, for frame of reference.
It really is a worthwhile Car, under estimated by Everybody, even ME before.

yeah, you're right, and i agree. but if you rolled into a parking lot with an LSx Miata, and a LSx Civic. both did burnouts and launches, the civic would drop more jaws. its just a straight up trip lol
