Default LS7 to Tremec swap info,,,

I am in the middle of putting a TT LS7 into my project car. I got a transmission kit from Keislet Engineering to install a tremec T56 Magnum transmission. It seems the splines on the input shaft are too long and contact the pilot bearing. Has anyone done this swap? Was there EVER an LS7 offered with an automatic transmission? I think my crank is different than a MT one.

yep, switch the pilot bearing over to one for the GTO LS2 and use some Loctite bonding compound, cause its a slip fit without it... hope that helps
