Hey Fellas,

Im in a bit of a delmia. I want to paint my engine bay satin black but am unsure how it would look. The car is silver, the motor will be Pontiac blue with a healthy dose of polished parts under the hood. Please post pics of black bays on (other than black) cars...Thanks

I would clean it up and repaint silver.

If you already plan on painting it, you're going to have to clean it up. Might as well re-paint it to match the car. Just clear coat it, it'll look much cleaner.

I think it would look good. Pontiac blue I think would clash with a silver engine bay.

A little nostalgia never hurts.

If it's well done then it might look good. Otherwise it might just look like the car was resprayed a different color.
