missfire pending

Default missfire pending

when i first got the misfire code my ses went on but no everytime i get to a certain speed around 90-100 somewhere in there it just flashes no ses light i need to get it on staying on to have my mechinic see which cylinders is missfiring.i am always cruising when it flashes not full throttle.i hopeing its something simple.

Flashing is not a good sign bro. It's a bad misfire and your asking for trouble going 90-100 with it flashing IMO.

Just replace the coils, I just had a misfire and it was the coil for that cylinder. If your lazy, buy one new one, swap them out with the first coil, test drive it, if the SES comes on, it wasn't that coil, try the next coil, see if it comes on, if it does, try the next one, if it comes on, try the next one, if it doesn't come on on the last coil, that was the bad coil

howcome it would pull up top strong and also i cant even the fell the missfire. if it was something mechincal wouldnt it pull not as strong.the reason why i have to 90-100 is because thats the only time it goes on.

Having the exact same scenario with my bird except it flashes when highway cruising 60-70 in 5th or 6th.
