New Member Hey guys I just joined this forum because I want to start a build so I need help and see what I learn from here 
I have a 1990 454 ss pickup that I want to build . I was wondering what would be the best engine setup for it? Im shooting for a 1000hp or something around there. I want to build something fast because if I build something I wanna do it the right way the first time around. I want something with turbos .
Any help would be appreciated ...

Since you are at LS1Tech, I assume you are thinking about some sort of LSx swap?
Personally, I would skip that and build the BBC that you already have. Why settle for a smaller cube engine when a big block fits just fine into your truck? I'd build the block you have now into a 496ci and then go from there.
