Default any idea what this switch on the underside of driver's dashboard is?

I have this switch on bottom of the driver's side dash, near the center console on my 2000 z28. I've always forgotten to check what it does. any ideas what it could be? if it's an electric exhaust cutout, it'd make an immediate change in sound, even when just idling, correct? what else could it be? I've been sort of scared to flip it while driving, fearing that maybe it's fuel cutoff or something lol

my car does have an slp catback.

unfortunately, i just checked and found that it isn't even connected to anything. My guess is, someone had an electric cutout installed on the stock exhaust, but then after the slp was installed, this was disconnected
