Hope this is the right forum for this question....what is the length of an LS block? Going to mount it using a mid & motor plate so I am wondering what the distance will be between the plates....Just curious...

A length is indeed mentioned in that thread but it does not specify where it was measured to/from.....I did see that before I asked....

Im guessing from the longest point, end to end of the block.

Thanks...I spent close to two hours a few night ago when I could not sleep hunting on Google and did not find squat. As a guess the plate to plate distance is probably 20.5". Thought about looking for a plastic mock up block but the damn thing is more than a bare block on FleeBay. Not to mention the car was set up for a 2G HEMI using a plastic block...I borrowed a friends HEMI only to find out that the plastic blocks dimensions were off...Anyhow, Thanks again for your help....
