Default Cheapest way to 400chp

Pretty self explanitory. I'm looking for the cheapest way to 400 with out getting like a nos kit. I have an 02 camaro ss slp m6 with the slp lid and lm1 outta the factory so I'm guessing right now I have 345 to the crank. I'm planning on ordering bbk headers after winter

I would think that headers and a tune should get you there.

agreed, headers offroad y pipe, and a tune should get you close since you have a lid, ls6 intake, and free flowing exhaust already

Just so you know, no F-body got the LM1 exhaust from the factory. Some cars did get the SLP DUAL/DUAL exhaust from the factory which were all '99-'02 Firehawks, and any '98-'02 SS's that checked the exhaust option. The only F-bodies that got a different lid from the factory were '02 Firehawk's and '02 SS's with the 345 HP option. It should be noted that this was not the normal SLP lid, but the Blackwing lid made by Donaldson for SLP.

It doesn't take much. Like the others said headers/ory and tune in addition to what you have will get you very close. Ported tb will help. If you're still not quite there then a UD pulley or other bolt on will for sure do the job to put you over the 400bhp mark. Depends on the car though. Headers/ory/tune+what you have should definitely be enough.

FBO. With some 3.73 or 4.10 gears should do the trick.

Agreed with posts above^
