99 z28 cd changer problems Hello,
I have a 99 z28 with a factory trunk mounted cd changer. when i eject the magazine and insert the cds into the magazine it seems to be working fine because it cycles through all the trays and then stops. but the head unit does not seem to be reading that there is a cd in the cd changer because i have read the owners manual and it states that the head unit should display a cd icon when there is a cd in the changer. i also read that the head unit should display a flashing cd icon when the cd changer is cycling through the cd trays. i have checked the continuity of the connections from the cd changer to the head unit and everything seems to be connected correctly. any information will help.
