Hows this motor going to sound/preform in town
ls3/T56/FORD 9 inch 4>11 gears in a 66 Nova
I don't know anything about cams or specs so I wanted to see what you all think this motor will act on the street with the custom cam. I'm only going to be using it on the weekends to run around town, I don't plan on going to the track etc. Does this cam fall onto the mild or wild side of things? The cam was in the motor when I got it and I have the card but its never been fired. Motor was rebuilt with Manley Rods, Pistons w valve relief, GM crank etc etc

12.5* of overlap at .050. With LS3 heads, the motor probably is at the point of starting to not like life at the 1200-1800 RPM range. You may experience some bucking/surging when cruising if the RPMs aren't kept up. The 4.11 gears will help with that, though.
