Default Will anti-seize mess up o2 sensor function

In the middle of my header install and I used regular anti-seize on the o2 sensors. Then I checked my Chilton manual and they warn that a special conductive anti-seize (gm or equal) must be used or the ground contact might be insulated. Is this true.

i know most o2 sensors come pre-applied with anti-seize. i've never really thought about a different type of anti-sieze but i figure as long as you dont really cake it up it should be alright...

the sensors had a very small amount so I added some more - probably shouldn't have. But what came on them had the same silver color as the permatex I used.

It will burn off ASAP on the exposed areas (parts that matter) and it comes pre-applied on most as stated by others. Don't worry about it unless you squeezed it into the sensor through the little vents or something stupid.
