Default Finally, its looking like an LS1!!

My god, finding an ls1 has been the hardest car search i have ever had. When i decided i wanted an lt1 it didnt take me more than 3 weeks to find one, but i have been looking for an ls1 for about 4 months. Found a 98 Z on ebay about an hour from me. 6 speed, intake slp maf, tb, exauhst pro5.0, and ram clutch. I had set up a time with the guy to see the car, then he called me that night and had to leave town so he was ending the auction and would just call me when he got back if i wanted to buy it outright. So i think im heading over there Tuesday with $5500 for a 6 speed ls1 with 100,000 in great shape. Sorry for the pointless post but not finding what ive wanted has been killing me lately. Praise to the motor gods.

there is a 1999 or 2000 pewter Z28 near me. Auto, t-tops, not sure if it's leather or cloth. 100k miles on it for $7900. From a dealer no less. i just don't want to get into an LS1 with over 60k miles. Just my preference. I'm pretty content with my LT1 anyway.

I just got a new way to fund my project..

You can go on Ebay and get a complete LS1 Engine & Tranny for about $2500-$3000, then find a Harness/PCM for about $300, and put it in. I built my own Harness so that saved money there. My project is going to cost about $6500 total, but there is a little bit more to mine..
