Default a little bumpy

everytime i go over about 80mph my car starts to shake a lot, i would like to eliminate this problem but im not sure what the deal is...am i the only one with this problem?? does anyone know or have any idea what it could be?? i have corvette wheels on a 97 z28...help a brotha out..

Check the obvious/cheap first.

Are the tires properly inflated? Are the wheels/tire properly balanced? Those are the most obvious, and likely.

Beyond that you have the driveshaft-unlikely for the most part at only 80mph cruising, IMO. Also, you could have some suspension issues, perhaps engine/tranny mounts, etc. It would help if you described what "alot" is, and where you feel/think the shaking is coming from.

it just feels like im on a bumpy road, even when im not, and it seems to be coming from the rear end...idk, i guess ill just take it in to some tire shop...thanks for the ideas...

i would say deff the wheels if you have the corvette rims... just get them balanced and have them filled to 38 PSI or so and check it out again

i had that problem with my 02 Z28, it was the front wheel bearing. might want to check that, arter the tires, go with the cheapest first.
