Can a full bolt on ls1 ss with a tr230 cam beat a full bolt on 03-04 pullied cobra from a roll or a dig.?

auto or manual ls1? either car on drag radials? it should be a good drivers race, whoever hooks first and shifts the fastest will win. ive heard termi motors need roughly 50-75 more rwhp to keep up w/ lsx's so essentially a 400rwhp ls1 vs 450-475rwhp cobra should end up damn close

maybe from a dig an LS1 might have slight advantage. i hear its tough for cobras to hook up from digs. but for rolls, those cobras im sure are vicious. it would be a good race.

cobra should take it but if the ls1 had the vindicator cam it might be a different story.

I'm gonna have to say the cobra. Those things move out especially from a roll. They have a real hard time hooking from a dig. Mainly just spinning from what i see unless they have some sort of sticky rubber. If you had a set of port and polished heads I would change my mind. They are not unbeatable but you do have to have the right mods lined up to do it. I just think the cobra has the advantage in this one especially if he knows how to drive.
