Default Sealing nostrils on hood

Ok, I bought a WS9 hood from Roger and was in the first heavy downpour coming home. The nostrils are de-baffled so water and air has a straight shot at the engine bay, good for air; bad for water. So after my commute home yesterday the belts are squeaking like no other. So is there anything I can use to block off the front two nostrils? And what can I use to get them to stop, like a belt dryer spray I would assume??

the belts are going to get wet regardless. the biggest threat is to the motor taking in water. the belts will dry out on their own. i would imagine that blocking off the exit part on the hood would be easier since its one big opening. i'd go to a car stereo place and see iff they could fiberglass it off. just make sure it can withstand the force of air, water, and anything else that might hit it at however fast you drive. imo, i would just not drive in the rain or find an unmodified WS6 hood.
