Did seafoam mess my car or cats up?
Ok so I seafoamed my car I just bought (m6 trans am)(which also needs new plugs and probably wires)
After i sea foamed it now it seems that below 1.5k rpm the car is very shaky and feels almost as if quick intervals of the car not getting gas or somthing...
I was thinking possibly that the cats are no good becuase it sort of has a nasty egg smell now and running the sea foam just gave it that last big of kick to the cats.
Could it be injectors?
Anyone else have this problem?
Some times I notice it in 1st when I take off but I REALLY feel it when skip shift kicks in and it gets all bouncy and jerky till it passes 1.5k-2k

you might have knocked some crud lose that probably messed up a couple of the plugs, being as how its low rpm under high load a good spark is important, personaly i would do the plugs and wires and then report back to see if the problem still exists

I second that. I work for a dealership and a lot of times when doing an induction flush the spark plugs will get fouled out and make it miss. Most of the time we just take the car our and run it for 10-15 minutes and it clears up. It is also possible that some of the "crud" helped the cats get stopped up. Most of the time I recommend doing the induction flush before a tune up. That way the plugs get changed after the flush.

Every car i have seafoamed i have changed the plugs right after. I read (i think on the back of the bottle) that it is suggested to change the plugs after using the seafoam because it can foul them.

Tonight the damn car over heated, cant find the source of the coolant leak.. it was spraying like a high pressure sprinkler and got all over the engine bay. temp gage didnt read barely over 210 but I am being told its a dummy gage that doesnt work ... I guess maybe my car has other issues with this whole missing deal..
