Default new motor or more expensive car? HELPPPPP

alright well some of you may have seen my post about my loan issue but you did no need to. i got a new idea today and im just looking into it now but maybe it would be best to save up for a new assembled engine and stick that in a high mileage trans am/camaro. im 19 so i dont want to do a v6 firebird/camaro swap cuz i dont want to have to do a tranny swap too, i just want the t56. im thinking it might be cheaper to buy a 120k WS6/SS/TA/CAMARO and then saving a couple grand for the motor. it might be easier this way so i dont need such a big loan. not looking to make huge #s now but maybe in 2 or 3 years an APS TT. i just took a peak at TSP to get and idea, cuz i dont know many palces to shop for assemlbed engines at the moment, and i was thinking this
[http://texas-speed.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=46&catid=28] with these but i cant decide on the options.

KEY QUESTIONS IM LOOKING FOR ANSWERS FOR:
1.)good/bad idea?
2.) options on the block?
3.)different website (cheaper)?
4.)what kind of power would your selected options make in the car (assuming just the motor)?

id like to keep the assembled block under or around $4,000. remember, im 19. haha. thank you in advance!

please answer any/all that you can

definately go with a high mile ls1 car...some of them are in good shape and still run great

save for a rebuild of the ls1....if you know a good builder

if not then I guess you'd have to go crate motor

how much would the rebuild cost? if i go that route, id like to make a decent amount more power than the stock ls1. what could i get out of that?

there are some cheap fbodies lately and some with low milage. go with a newer fbody then swap to a bigger motor. sdpc sells short blocks for cheap and you can reuse alot of your old parts

I've got one late model Camaros V6 now. It's going away - It's not worth putting the dealership stickers on. Another T-Top V6 will be here this week. If these vehicles are coming to my place. Surely other folks are seeing the same.
