Default ls2, should i?

My buddy got his hands on a 6.0 ls2 out of a truck with 70k on the clock...he says it needs a rebuild and thinks its a wrist pin thats messed up...he told me he would sell it to me for $500...thats includes pretty much everything, heads, intake, TB, manifolds, cats etc... im just wondering if its gonna be worth it in the end after buying a new rotating assembly, wiring harnesses blah blah.....and i dont think my bolt-ons will convert over to an ls2 will they?

I say buy it. If you rebuild it and get it back to tip top shape you should be able to sell it for a profit even if you don't transplant it.

IMO buy it... could even part it out if you didn't want it for more than 500 bucks probably.
