Default An Odd thing

2002 Camaro SS 5.7 A4

You can be driving down the road no problem, All gauges fine....

then at the same time the Volt meter pegs on 18 ABS INOP BRAKE and AIRBAG come on....

BUT

You can turn the AC on and they go right away and everything goes to normal

No SES lights or codes pop up

Any Ideas?

All the grounds are connected, and the battery is new... My thoughts point to an Alternator Problem but I would like to know IF anyone has had this problem... and how its fixed

and I do understand that it could be the computer could be cutting them off due to them being options but i was thinking that was on low voltage

anyway thanks in advanced for the help

I had sort of the same prob on my 98 T/A. It didn't have a/c but would peg the gauge and light up the warning lights. I replaced the alt and checked and cleaned all the grounds and it went away. Nit sure if its the same thing, just thought I would pass on the info.

Alternator / battery / connection / regulator. Something in the charging system for sure.
