The coolant could be burning off the hot parts that got sprayed making it look like smoke or steam maybe. Top off the coolant and drive it around.

You could blast it with a garden hose from behind to clean off all the coolant. It could take awhile for that sticky stuff to burn off. But when you re-wet it, it'll spray and wash right off the radiator and whatever else its on. Spray the entire engine and everything down when its cold, with a hose. Its probably all over everything underneath like the K-Member, pulleys, hoses, and frame.

You have a tranny cooler to install?

Easy, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to do it. All you need is about 3 feet of 3/8" heater hose and a place to mount it. Mine is mounted on the right side in front of my condensor. Buit I have no fan on mine, its really not necassary for just a street car.

If you want me to take pics of how mines mounted, let me know. Two bolts and that hose is all you need.
