HELP!! removing steering linkage

HELP!! removing steering linkage im trying to remove the steering linkage so i can pull back the headers far enough to unbolt the heads.
i got the top bolt off on the linkage, but how the %^@* do i get get off the bottom bolt? do i get it from the top of the engine bay, or the bottom?
