Red face Cant find signal flasher....

I removed the under steering column panel but there is no flasher unit anywhere that I can see.

I dont see this anywhere under the driver's side panel.

BTW when I turn the hazzards on, all lights flash. However when I select left turn it blinks extremely slowly and doesnt blink at all when I select the right turn signal. Figure the signal flasher would likely be the issue.

It should be located towards the right side, towards the radio area. I changed mine out a couple years ago because my car had the same symptoms as yours and it did fix it. Hope that helps.

Is it the same cylinder style? I am not seeing it anywhere under the driver's side dash. I've pulled off the lower panel, just under the steering column. Looking further left (over the SES connector deal) and towards the radio there is still nothing that appears like the signal flasher.

The pics are directly under the steering the column. When it's light out tomorrow I'll pop under there and take pics towards the radio as well. I dont see a flasher unit anywhere.

the flasher unit is there...dont tear anything else out...in your second picture do you see the purple and brown wire at the top?(located more toward the center console area?
now your flasher unit is attached to those two wires...its going to be hiding on the inside (nearer center console area) its not going to jump out at you...
its right above the obdII sensor but behind the rail item...its held on by a metal brace... hope this helps...

OK finally, 2001CamaroB4C is absolutely correct the turn signal flasher is connected to those 2 wires (purple and brown). Fix my girl's Firebird signal and couldn't find that damn little flasher for the life of me.

Thank you 2001CamaroB4C!!!

Here's a few pics of the exact location for the next guy!

Also a tip to find an elusive flasher is to turn on the turn signal and it should make a tick, tick, noise.
