Default F-ing driver side o2 sensor!!!

I swear to god I'm going to break something.

I'm replacing my upstream o2 sensors on my 02 T/A. Stock manifolds. The passenger side went easy. I have the driver side out (finally) and I'm trying to put the new one in. This is so ******* stupid. I can't get the god damn threads to seat because when I turn the o2 sensor, it twists the ******* wires around and pulls then sensor back out of the bung.

How the ******* hell do you get this thing in without twisting the wires all to hell? No I don't have it plugged in. The tail is just hanging. I'm so pissed right now I could kill someone. This is such a stupid thing so why am I having such a problem!?! Arrrgh!!!

I just held the wires with one hand and screwed the sensor in with the other. It screwed all the way in by hand, then I snugged it with the wrench.

Don't see why you're having a problem. Ball the wires up and zip tie them, then screw it in.

try twisting the sensor and wires a lot the opposite way before you start screwing the sensor in. By the time it gets screwed in the wires should be straight again.

I got it in. Finally got the threads to catch and had to keep untwisting the wires as I went. Sorry for my little vent.
