My fuel indicator has never worked since I got my T/A in 02, and the fuel pump had to be replaced twice. I was told that my problem was not the float in the tank. My instrument cluster, and a/c panel lights just stopped working and will not turn on so i checked and replaced fuses did not help, also how do you replace the leather shift ****? Any advice on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

For your fuel guage its most likely the sending unit.

You just unscrew the shift ****.
