anybody ever have there mph needle get stuck?

Default anybody ever have there mph needle get stuck?

just recently the needle decided to got past 150 and get stuck there. does not move anymore even when accelerating the car. funny thing is it did it while moving my car in the drive way. just wondering how I can fix this?

yeah i had this happen same way mvoed the car in the drive way and it got stuck i went to go drive to the store and hit about 50 mph and it went back it was wierd as hell

the only thing i can think of is to pop the needle out and manually reset it to where it should be

Happens all the time. The needle just went past the point where its engaged the electromagnet in the gauge.

- Take instrument cluster out.
- Turn upside down until all needles are pointing down.
- Slowly rotate to the side until all fall back in their proper places.

Try pulling guages fuse out and re-installing the fuse with the key in start postion. Sometimes the needle will jump back to normal. You might have to repeat it a few times to fix it. Hope this helps. OR you can disconnect positive battery cable and reconnect it again it does the same thing!!
