WS6 wont start
My wife parked her car and turned it off. Everything was working fine. The next day she goes to start it and it wont start. It cranks but wont fire.
I checked the fuel pressure and it is high 50's with the key on but falls to 0 after a few seconds. Regulator problem? I don't think this is stopping it from starting?
I hooked up a timing light and cranked it over but didn't see any flashing.
I hooked up a scanner and I got 2 codes. P1637 (Generator L-terminal circuit) and P1626 (Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Lost). I cleared the codes and now I only have the P1637.
I replaced the crank sensor and same thing.
I replaced the ignition relay with a new one and same thing.
I had the aftermaket alarm removed and same thing.
I tested the key an it shows 1.088 ohms
I tested the socket with the key in and it shows 1.19 ohms
I tested the resistor by itself and it is 1.09
I tested the resistor tapped into the vats wires and it shows 1.19 ohms.
I tried starting it with the vats hooked up and bypassed and same thing,
The security light stays on for about 5 seconds then goes out with the key in the on position.
Fuel and volt gauges work, has oil pressure when cranking.
I loosened and re tightened all the ground straps I could find.
I disconnected the battery and cleaned terminals.
Let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm thinking its the VATS system, you sure you are bypassing the system with the correct ohm frequency, you need a resistor with the correct ohm to match the key's ohm. all need is to just test the key and go to radio shack and buy the correct resistor.. maybe this helps
