radiator fans squeaking

Default radiator fans squeaking

anyone know what type of spray lube or anything that i can throw on them to shut them up?

Probably not. Based on their location, I would guess these motors are very well sealed.

Even so, They aren't that difficilut to remove. I would try to find a way to dig into them and shut them up.

? what?

the radiator fan motors are right there u can see them in plain sight, i just need to know what type of lube is ok, even better what type of spray

One of mine started squeaking years ago, for about 2 weeks. I was about to change it out and it all of a sudden stopped and hasen't made a sound since. I was told to spray white lithium grease on them by a tech at the dealership. Don't know why he recommended that though.

I haven't looked at the fan motors lately. I am assuming they are sealed so I'm not sure how spraying lube on the outer case would help.

I was thinking crack the motors open and grease them up.

My fans are still factory original from 1998.......15+ years. Try lithium grease spray.
