Usually you just have to move it a little to the right or left. Shoul'nt be that big of a problem. You probaly have it fixed already. Maybe someone else here had this problem. Loosen the bolts move it a little and tahts it. John

yea the problem is that there's like 5 or 6 bolts that dictates what direction it goes in...left or right..up or down. I got it down for th emost part. When i pull the hood release now, it doesnt pop up, and part of the pass side is a little higher. I guess it's as good as im gonna get tho. I got more cut up today than when i did the header install

if it doesnt pop up when you pull the realeasemore than likely it to tight and you need to move it up. If you hood higher on one side the latch isnt going to fix that, its probably you hood bumps

You can move the latch a little and also spray wd40 on it to release easier. I"ve saw body shop guys bend the hood a little by hand by just pushing down on it to make it sit lower. I think he did it on one of my past camaro's. I also did it on my astro van. Like the other reply stated you can adjust the stoppers, raise it up a little to put more pressure for the release.
