Default Center Console Bezel Removal

My upper bezel on the center console has been broken for a while and finally got around to purchasing a new one. It looks like a pretty simple install but i am unsure how to remove the automatic trans gear shifter. can anyone give me some input on how to remove the top bezel and shifter? Thanks in advance

The shifter handle is held in with a horseshoe shaped clip on the front of the handle. You can feel it about half-way up from the bottom of the handle. Pull that clip out (forward) with a small screwdriver and the handle will slide up and off. Without knowing what kind of car you have (year and model) I don't know what to tell you on the bezel, but most likely it will just pop off my pulling straight up. Just work at it and you will get it, but DO NOT PULL HARD ENOUGH TO BREAK IT!!!
