Is the water pump on the LS1 able to be taken apart? I have taken the rear cover off but is there more to come out of it?

Are there any rubber seals or gaskets inside it?

I am looking to pull the pulley off, clean the housing up and powder coat the pump.

I don't want to put this in the oven if I can disassemble it. Any one know?

if i can remember they are molded together...the older style pumps the pully can come off from the front, not sure aboutthe rest

the pulley comes off no matter what year. earlier years used a bolt-on pulley and later years was pressed on
